Plans & billing

Pay per job: one job, one price, no subscription

Create a free account, upload your files and see the price for exactly that job before paying anything. Each target language is priced separately, translation memory matches and repetitions are free, and a pass stays valid for 90 days.

  • A guided New job flow: add files, prepare, price and pay, then run and download.
  • AI translation from £39, or AI translation with QA/LQA scoring as a bundle from £59. Prices in GBP or EUR.
  • One button runs the whole job: translation with your memories and termbases, QA checks, LQA scoring and automatic fixes. Review in the editor if you like, then download the files in their original format.

Pay per job for OCR and transcreation, and sign-up with Microsoft

Scanned PDFs are priced per page and transcreation per asset. New pay-per-job customers can sign up with their Microsoft work account and go straight to their first job, and the app confirms the payment the moment you return from checkout.

Plans & billing

Finish an over-allowance job now

If a file would take you past your monthly word allowance, you can buy a pass for that file and the import carries on by itself once paid. You no longer have to wait for next month or upgrade the whole plan.

Analysis

Billions of memory checks in under 2 minutes, down from 45

A large project means 22,000+ segments analysed against several translation memories of 100,000+ entries each, in every target language: billions of comparisons. That analysis used to take 45 minutes. It now finishes in under 2 minutes, in the background, so you can keep working while it runs. Speed-ups like this are what we’re working towards across the whole platform.

  • More accurate tag and duplicate scoring.
  • Analysis tells you when a Phrase TM sync is already up to date, instead of syncing again.
Projects & workflow

See what each workflow stage changed

  • Edit distance per stage on the project page, for example how much revision changed the translation.
  • A stage-vs-stage edit distance export (CSV) from the editor.
  • Download any file as it stood at a given stage.
  • Reverting to an earlier stage now restores that stage’s approvals.
OCR

OCR, rebuilt for long scanned documents

  • Live progress, cancel, a time estimate up front and one-click re-run.
  • Long scanned PDFs process end to end, however many pages they have.
  • Stamps, logos, signatures and backgrounds are captured as notations or images, and you can show or hide them in the editor.
  • A layout preview everywhere you start OCR, shared settings for the whole workspace, and a job list for your organisation.
Transcreation

A dedicated transcreation editor

Write several creative options per market, add back-translations and the reasoning behind each choice, and take the client through to an approved version.

  • Vendors see only the documents assigned to them.
  • Rolling out Import the client’s markup.
  • Export a transcreation sheet as a Word document, with your logo.
File formats

More formats, and more of the original kept intact

  • MadCap Flare projects, including packed .flprjzip files, which come back packed.
  • Excel: bold and italic inside a cell survive translation, and a new “All cells” mode supports per-row character limits and regex tag rules.
  • JSON: optionally translate keys whose value is empty.
  • Inline codes you define with a regex are protected before any text reaches the AI model.
  • Export the whole translated project as an archive from the project page, however large.
Transcription

Turn a batch of transcripts into a translation project

After a batch transcription job, create a translation project from its transcripts in one step.

TM & terms

Memories and termbases organised by client

  • Translation memories and termbases are visible across your organisation, and agencies also see those of the client organisations they manage.
  • Rolling out Filter memories and termbases by client, subject, language and status.
Operations

Operations: vendor compliance and quotes

  • ISO 17100 and ISO 27001 checklists for each vendor.
  • Preview and download quotes straight from the Quotes list.
  • Operations can be switched on per organisation, so a client can pilot it before a full rollout.
OperationsRolling out

Operations for smaller teams, XTRF migration and Xero

  • Simple mode hides advanced language-service-provider features for teams that don’t need them.
  • A quote-request inbox that reads incoming email from Microsoft 365 or Gmail.
  • Price a project band by band, straight from the file analysis, using your own rate tables.
  • Import your data from XTRF, and run both systems side by side while you switch.
  • Reconcile invoices and payments with Xero, with differences flagged for review.
OperationsRolling out

Operations: deposits, legal entities, interpreting and quality follow-through

  • Take deposits and money on account, and apply them to invoices later.
  • Invoice from several legal entities, each with its own details, numbering and bank account, and report margin by cost centre. Each entity can post to its own Xero organisation.
  • Book interpreting sessions (on site, video or phone) with billing, cancellation fees and calendar files.
  • Offer several jobs to vendors at once from the project page. A public application link lets new vendors apply, with a review queue.
  • Quality cases can create the rework job or the credit note directly. Clients can raise complaints and feedback from their portal.
  • An order confirmation is issued when a client accepts a quote, and can be emailed to them automatically.
  • Custom fields on clients, vendors and projects.
  • Every list sorts by column, lets you pick the columns, keeps its filters in the link you share, and can be saved as a named view.
  • Sign in with Google. Quote inboxes connect to any client’s Microsoft 365 tenant.
API

Completion callbacks and a deliverables endpoint

Register a callback URL and the API notifies your system when an OCR job or an end-to-end run finishes. Then fetch the finished files from a single deliverables endpoint, in the original format or as XLIFF.

Usage

Usage dashboard: one date range for every tab

Choose a period once and every tab follows it. The dashboard also shows token efficiency and operations trends.

Polish

Smaller improvements that matter day to day

  • Line breaks are kept when you edit tagged, multi-line segments.
  • memoQ files carry each segment’s status back on export.
  • External reviewers assigned to a stage can open their project.
  • Only project managers can delete, restore or purge source files.
  • Rolling out Files exported in their original format keep the space between sentences inside a paragraph.

September 2026

Design

A new look, shared with languageops.com

The app now shares the editorial design of our website: calmer screens, clearer type, and one accent colour reserved for what needs your attention.

File import

Finer control over spreadsheet imports

  • Typed columns and grouped row filters, so you import only the rows you need.
  • Optionally skip hidden content in Excel files.
  • Better contrast for right-to-left languages.
Editor

Safer document previews

Previews of uploaded documents load more reliably and are isolated from the rest of the app.

Operations

Client and vendor finance portals

More of the finance workflow is available in the client and vendor portals.

Projects & workflow

Project templates and time tracking

Start new projects from a saved template, and record time spent per project for reporting.

Late August 2026

Quality

Faster LQA scoring

LQA scoring takes less time per file, with the same checks and the same scores.

Plans & billing

Self-serve token top-ups and clearer allowances

  • Buy AI tokens yourself from a single GBP price list.
  • Monthly allowances with a meter that resets each calendar month.
  • Annual plans for individual linguists.
Quality

QA and LQA built into each workflow stage

  • Run QA and LQA for a single file from the Revision stage. Each file shows which quality steps have already run.
  • Accept or reject each LQA error. Once every error has a decision, the stage can move on.
  • After automatic fixes, only the fixed segments are checked again, and every fix run is recorded.
  • Export a QA/LQA report.
Editor

A background jobs panel, and tidier editor filters

Long-running jobs appear in a panel in the sidebar, so you can follow them from any page. The editor’s segment filters now sit in one toolbar menu.

TM & terms

More dependable memory imports and Phrase syncs

Memory imports you start yourself go to the front of the queue. SDLTM files with unreadable entries import everything else instead of failing, and long Phrase syncs finish cleanly.
