What are words imported vs tokens?
Words imported is a simple wordcount of the source content you bring to the platform — file uploads, TM entries, segments. Tokens are only consumed when you use AI-powered features like translation, LQA, research or dubbing. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of both, and you can top up tokens any time without changing plan.
Do I pay extra for video and audio?
No. Audio and video features (transcription, dubbing, batch TTS) are included on every paid plan. They consume tokens from the same budget as text features — there’s no separate AV charge.
How is LanguageOps Live priced?
Live is billed by the translated channel-hour — one source channel into one language for one hour — as one-off event packs or monthly bundles, with fully managed events available as a service. Attendees are always free: a French channel with 50 listeners is one channel-hour, not fifty.
Can I run a single event without a subscription?
Yes. A single-event pack (£59 for 6 channel-hours) or event series (£199 for 25) is a one-off purchase with no ongoing subscription — recording, transcripts and the post-event report included. Or let us run it for you as a managed event.
What if I only need a CAT tool?
The Professional plan at £250/month gives you the full translation editor, TM, glossary, QA and AI features. All features are included on all paid plans, so you’re never locked out of a tool — heavier AI usage is metered by tokens.
What happens if I exceed my limits?
You can purchase token bundles at any time, and we notify you at 80% usage. If you regularly exceed your plan, upgrading to the next tier is usually cheaper than buying bundles — higher plans get better per-token rates.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade any time and get prorated access immediately; downgrades take effect at your next billing date.
Do you do custom development work?
